Ft. Myers area

We are looking to go for the month of Feb. in the Ft. Myers area. We don't have to be on the beach maybe about 30 min drive would be ok. My budget would be between 1100-1500. If any of you stay in the area let me know the good and the bad.

we stayed at gulf waters rv resort and it was one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. most lots are owned but they do rent them but sometimes hard to get in. they have nice pool with a bar at pool side also have some kind of lunch most days. if you are a beach person you will learn real fast to go early to beat traffic going over bridge which is only about a mile from resort no traffic can be at beach in 10 mins. also have a shuttle up the street which you can take to beach 2 years ago only cost 50 cents.
