Decked the walls because why not!?

Just got back from 4 nights at Anchor Down in Dandridge, TN. We’ve always wanted to decorate for Christmas in our TT, but our camping season ends before December. This trip we decided why the heck not...we brought along a small tree and enjoyed all the Christmas decorations in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg as well. By the way, if you aren’t too far and you’ve not been to this campground it sure is hard to beat! Click image for larger version

Lesley, Christmas is Christmas.

We always spent tons of money and put out all kinds of stuff for Christmas at our S&B along with Thanksgiving and Halloween. Now, we move around. For the last several years we have stayed at the same place during the Christmas season. It is, to us, impossible to forget or pretend that Christmas isn't happening. We obtained permission and we place Christmas lights and trees around the site where we stay. When we leave we leave all lights etc. for the owner or any resident that would like them.

To celebrate Christmas and put out "stuff" to show how you feel is the way it should be to us. And anymore, seems like Christmas season starts in October...best I can tell from Home Depot, Lowes, Walmart etc.

Love Anchor Down. Our 5er is in the shop. When we get it back it will be decorated sitting next to our home.
