The wife and I spent a week in Sedona, after flying into Phoenix and renting a car.

Can't wait to go camping around the area.

Thanks for the post and link to the pictures, it reminded me of how much we liked it.

We love the Sedona area. Camped in Oak Creek Canyon two springs ago. Currently camped about 25 miles above Camp Verde off Lake Mary Rd south of Flagstaff..

Spent some time in Phoenix area at Thanksgiving (not camping but in our timeshare). Saw some beautiful places in Sedona but our favorite was on a lake north of Peoria. Sites were on a cliff looking over the water. On our to do retirement trip in a few years.
