not sure what is happening

We are having a problem with our dining table contacting the window blind note it has always been very close but the blind is almost impossible to open. The part that we really don't like is that when the slide is all the way in there is more than an inch of clearance but as soon as the slide starts to move out the clearance is lost. there seems to be no problem with the fit or function of the slide and nothing is loose???

It is the flex of the floor/lean of the table. When your slides are in, they are at a different angle then when out. The floor is supported differently and it flexes. Your table should be screwed to the floor, I would just unscrew it move it out a bit and reattach. It's nothing to get concerned over.

I agree. If you do decide to remove/relocate it, use the same length screws (better yet, use the same screws). If you go to anything longer, you risk damaging your floor cover under the slide if (when) the screw points scrape the vinyl or carpet flooring.

When the slide is in, open the blind and when the slide is out, don't close it all the way.

I have relocated dinette tables for just that reason and on occasion because it contacted the kitchen island when retracted.

I use the same screws.

our table hits the island. we just put a dish towel between the table & counter top cabinet. just never thought about moving it. Heck we took two chairs out and never replaced them back into the camper. We haven't even unbuckled the chairs from the table this year??

Problem fixed, we couldn't move the table any closer to the island so I removed the drop leaf and turned the table around so that the unfinished edge faced the window frame. We now have lots of clearance. The drop leaf was nothing but a nuisance any how.
