2016 Cougar Xlite 26rls entertainment center

The original entertainment center (tuner/dvd-cd player) went bad 2 years ago .
I replaced it with OEM entertainment center and now it has gone bad also i.e."junk". Is there a higher quality unit that I can replace this with that I don't need to do a bunch of carpentry/hacking to get it to fit the original hole ? If so please tell me what the unit is, price, etc.. Thanks in advance J.S.

When our stereo gave up the ghost last year, I replaced it with this.

The two primary reasons were:
1. it would fit the hole in the wall
2. I figured it being same brand, it would be easy to hook up the wiring.

I was half right. It fit the hole like a glove but the wiring was night and day. We finally got everything wired up correctly and so far we've been pleased.

If I am correct the size of the hole is the size of a Double DIN mount. I have yet to see a real quality RV entertainment system but with the features that aftermarket car stereos have to offer today the only limit is your budget. Many people also replace their speakers too. It amazes me that none of them offer a Blu Ray from the factory unless it is a higher end unit.
