5th wheel hitch lift

I belong to three different trailering forums and don't remember where I saw a similar lift someone had built. I used the general idea of his and built this one. It fits into the hitch the same as the pin on the trailer. Lock it in place and use a cherry picker or overhead hoist to lift it and save your back. I just used what I had on hand

That’s cool I used straps to pull mine out but the hitch pin center nice idea. I retired my heavy hitch for a lightweight Anderson I am happy with .
