Bunk Ladder
Hello All,
Thank you for being so helpful on my last post. We bought the 1760 BH with the bunks in the back, but unfortunately my daughter isnt quite tall enough to climb up/down on her own. Has anyone found a ladder that works in this space. The ladders i found at campingworld were all 60 inch and that is too long as it sticks out and blocks the bathroom door. Most likely it will need to be a strait hang if there is one.
Thank you for all your assistance again! Looking through these Forums have made many things clearer and i cant wait to take it out for the first time this weekend.

Check with Stromberg Carlson. They make bunk ladders that you can cut to length.

How "not quite" is she? They do seem to grow very fast.

If she's not "big enough" to get into the bunk, I'd be concerned with her sleeping up there. Rolling out of the top bunk in a remote campground could be a truly hazardous situation... If she's that small, why not put her on one end of the bottom bunk and the other child (assuming you have 2) on the opposite end of the bottom bunk. By the time she's old enough not to roll out, hopefully she'll be old enough to climb up by herself.

I second the Stromberg Carlson ladder. That’s what we have and our little one (5 when we bought the camper and 7 now) has no issues with it.

My bunk house didn't come with a ladder, so I just built one out 1x4"s, sanded it and stained it. Cut the legs on angles to achieve the desired slope.
