Pictures From The Front Seat

Just thought I’d start this and see where it goes. Those of us that do or have traveled full time with our RVs, have taken hundreds/thousands of pictures while meandering along the highways and byways of our vast USA.

I’m going to kick this off with a picture of the Penobscot River in my home state, just north of its entrance into the Atlantic Ocean. We were traveling north on US1 near Bucksport, Maine.

Been through there in a SRW truck. Pucker factor was off the charts. I’d have to measure my dually to see if it would fit. Great pic

We did it in 2007 in our 2001.5 RAM 2500 truck more clearance that this one in the Redwoods in California in 2006, on that same trip we did the Zion NP tunnels with our 29' 5th wheel to get to Bryce Canyon NP. Chris

It would fit. We saw a tour bus go through. Evidently he'd been there before as the bus had the "scars" to prove it

Indiana

A lot of our full time traveling was done on rural, state and US highways. For the most part they are not as intensive or nerve racking. For instance; on this trip north from Florida to the Michigan Up State we decided to go right up the middle of Indiana and Michigan.

These pictures were taken on the flat as a flounder, straight as an arrow Indiana highway 3. It's a great rural road with ample pull-offs and great pavement. Traveling along at a comfortable 55 MPH the views can be watched without much interface from traffic. Very relaxing and even found an inland Portland.
