Unhappy Replacing water heater tank

I did not properly winterize my water heater and now have a crack in it. Wondering how hard it is to just replace tank or am I better off replacing whole unit. Trailer is only 2 years old so the rest of the heater should still be okay. It is an atwood heater.

Trailer life mag covered replacing the water heater/tank 2 to 3 months ago. I will see if I can find the copy number for you if that helps.
