Different Ride

We now have a different ride, to pull the Alpine, but will have to wait about 2 mouths before we leave south TX to try it out.

Smile New Ride

Are you going to install the 5th wheel hitch? I put mine in my 2011 Chevy 3500HD. If so let me know and I will give you some tips.

Hitch

Sorry for the late reply, yes I did my hitch myself, it was kind of a job. I put in new side plates & rails, had to drop the spare tire and the heat shield the bolts in the heat shield had loc-tite on them. You can tell me the short cuts I missed. Thanks

Truck

Thanks guys, we are enjoying it, can't wait to hit the road with the 3640RL Alpine (by Keystone), hooked up to the DENALI, we are in McAllen TX where we purchased it. When we leave here, will be heading to CA then heading home to NE.

Mileage

We left McAllen TX Sunday May 1st with a tail wind and by the time we were in San Antonio the wind was out of the north (headwind) we landed in Kerrville TX the average for the day was 10.4. When we left McAllen the truck only had 700 miles on it so hope for a little more.
