Newbie question-garbage?
Just took delivery of a 2008 Cougar 278 RKS and the women are wondering about a garbage can. Our boat has a tall skinny cabinet, perfect for a garbage can that is tucked away and secured. No such luck in the Cougar! What do you folks do?

We have a wastebasket sized can under the sink, which I use when cooking. Outside we have one of those popup cans that can be stowed when we are traveling. We empty the popup every night just to avoid "marauders".

Same here use a 13 gallon waste can in kitchen stored near garage door. YES, Good to empty outside container each night to avoid unwanted friends.

Used to have a SS can with a self closing lid that we kept near the door, you can see it in the attached pic. Our new RV has a cabinet made for a can.
We also used to use an outside can until the Wyoming winds took it away. Now we just use the internal can and take everything to the dumpster.

bsmith0404; Great point (attention to Detail) I forgot to mention if you want to use the same outside garbage can day after day "tie it down". Apparently the foldable ones also double as kites

Oh good to know. There is no way a garbage can of any size will fit in the inverted "V" under the kitchen sink in my TT. Will have to buy some stick on hooks.

You have what I have how 'bout dat!!!
I just use a rectangular bucket that, in it's former life was a Sun detergent
bucket. Wall World bags fit it nicely and I don't care to keep any more garbage
than that in these close quarters. Bag gets full out it goes. Oh yea, I keep it on the counter in front of the back window. Handy, and like I said it holds
more than I care to hoard. When I take Rascal out for his last outing at night
it goes in the park dumpster. Start fresh each day.

We use one of those popup trash cans, I put a stick of firewood in it before I put the trash bag in so the wind wont blow the trash can away
