Tillamook Bay kayak fishing

We are spending October and November in the cute little town of Garibaldi on Tillamook Bay.
My hubby has been fishing out of his kayak and has catch a couple of chinook salmon.

I have tried to crab out of my kayak a couple of times but it's a little early in the season and I'm learning how to deal with the tides in the bay

Here's a picture of one of the last Chinook my hubby caught

Weather was fantastic for most of October and so far in November it's been great too.

We already have our reservations for next year but need to go out a couple more years to get the really choice spots. Most all time people make their reservations 5 years in advance.
This place rocks! Harborview Inn and RV park.

Happy Camping

Happy Camping!!

How did he manage to get the Chinook into the kayak -- or did he "tow" it to shore?

Wow that is amazing! I can't imagine bringing that sucker into a kayak. What a feat.

My wife and I just started Kayaking this past summer and love it. We are both really into fishing but not ready for fishing on a kayak yet. Sounds like alot of fun

Big net and also I just got him a really cool kill bag from a company called konezone. It just fits on the back of the kayak.

Head north on HWY101 a mile or two and have dinner at Pirates Cove. A little pricey but soooo good
