Installing New Front Decal

I have finally received my replacement decal from Keystone. I did some checking on my local area and sign shops want $75.00 to install the replacement decal on my Sidney Outback Toy Hauler. I have some experience installing graphics as I did all the graphics installs on my 21FT Enclosed trailer. The question I have for you folks that have done this before is, Can I install this graphic by spraying the area with water and then align it and squeeze the excess water away using a small squeegee tool as I did with my other trailer?

Many thanks in advance.

Bill

Yes, wet is a good way to do a large graphic.

Add a drop or two of a simple liquid soap to the spray bottle. It will help the graphic smooth out plus the liquid squeezes out better. I always used a brayer when I did that kind of work.

Thank you for redirecting me to that thread. Lots of good info. Temps are in the mid 80's now so I can wait a week or two. No rush.

Red face

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you..... I just completed the Front decal reinstall...Used your instructions and it went on perfect the very first time. No Bubbles, No creasing.... How long do you think I should leave the outer paper on the graphic before I remove it? I am also planning to use a good clear sealant that my RV shop told me to buy and put a thin coat on all of the edges to keep it from rolling and peeling like the last one did.
