F150 one hour mirror upgrade

I drive an F350 at work and got tired of the difference in the sleeker original mirrors of my personal F150 that I had to add extensions to when I tow my travel trailer. These are Ford accessory approved (though I'm sure not as good as OEM) and have all the original power options of my factory mirrors plus I gained the puddle lights. Power folding would have been nice too but I didn't care to do the modifications to achieve that option. The upgrade only took an hour

Michael, we did the same swap a few years ago by taking the puny little mirrors off the Excursion and replaced them with the same mirrors as we had on our F-250. The time for the swap was exactly as you said and the price for both mirrors was about $150.00. If anyone happens to be interested I'll pass on the site to them in a PM.

I'm sure it's OK to post the source for these here. I would be interested.

Thanks!

This is the site:
https://www.1aauto.com/?gclid=COfSkP...FcVBhgod1I4O1g
I purchased two sets of replacement mirrors from them. Want me to tell you the story about backing next to a stop sign and tearing one off the driver's side of the F-250?
I might also add that I have also ordered two different replacement headlight assemblies from them. Everything was just like the OEM.

I installed a set of their mirrors today on my F-350. My driver's mirror got clipped going 45mph by a truck coming in the other direction. The noise that makes will wake you up in a hurry!

Do they have the temp sensor? Some don't. Also are they auto dimming?

Bmach, I believe you are closer to $500 or so for a pair with all the electronics. Just a WAG.

The mirrors on our Platinum have features that I have not seen on replacement towing mirrors (power fold, memory, puddle, turn, etc). I have seen some with a few, or even things we don't have like heat, but not an exact match.

I think the power fold would be a must have, especially with the larger mirrors and the DW would not be happy without the memory.

Has anyone come across any like that?

Thanks,

-Brian

You can find mirrors on 1AAuto.com with those features.

This is the set I bought, I ordered them from Fairway Ford in Canfield, Ohio. Didn't know about any temp probe, is that for the outdoor temp displayed in the dash, if so it still reads outside temp over the radio. I ordered the chrome caps since mine is a Lariat and my original caps were painted. They are not auto dimming. My cost was $650 delivered to the door

Brian the power folding is an available upgrade, but you may have to call the seller to find that part number
