Actual length of Cougar 27RLSWE TT
I have a 2010 Cougar 27 RLSWE travel trailer. Love it! The length of my trailer as noted on the Keystone spec sheet is 30.6 feet. A place that I want to camp insists that all rigs who enter must be at least 30 feet long - and they don't include the tounge as part of this - just actual living space. I keep my trailer in storage quite a distance from where I live, so I am unable to measure the actual interior length right now. Does anyone know if by chance this model is perhaps 30 feet long from end to end on the interior? Thinking it's 27 since that's the number in the model designation, but not sure.
Thanks,
JAG

I have seen campgrounds (RV Resorts) with restrictions for age, condition type and maximum size. Minimum size is a new one on me.
That said ..... The 30 ft 6in that Keystone lists should be for tongue to bumper. But I doubt that anyone is going to physically measure your trailer. "It looks like 30 feet to me." "That's what the salesman told us."

Thanks!
Thanks Hank!
Unfortunately, that's just what the jokers at this resort we want to go to said they would do . . . measure it when we got there from the inside! Crazy some of the requirements these supposed "resorts" have.

JAG, Howdy;
Think they just want to see how clean you keep your trailer.
NO ONE has any business inside my trailer unless I invite them in or they have a piece of paper signed by a judge!
Inside measurement will be about 4" short of the out side due to the thickness of the walls.
My old TT was listed as a 26 umpty-squat I donno... It was made in 1995 those decals went by the roadside miles before I bought it.
From the bottom rear corner to the bottom front corner measured 26' and a few "s. OVERALL, rear of bumper to center of Ball socket was 30'
If they want to keep the "small camper riff-raff" out, then they need to bring their collective noses down out of the stratosphere! IMO !!!

Wow!... ditto what Hank said, "minimum size is a new one on me", too.
As related to THIS instance your trailer (exterior box length) only measures approx 27 ft.

What is their reason for a minimum length? This is the oddest thing I've heard of.

Length
My question is why would you even want to go to a place like this?
Sounds like country club rules of the '50s--- probably the same clientele, big on $$$$, "we cater to WASPs only" mentality.

I would be waving at them from the highway as I drove by. I can't imagine being so attached to a CG that I would put up with that garbage, not when I'm spending MY MONEY.
