5th wheel furnace

We have a Keystone Montana Legacy 5th wheel, 2016. Whenever I turn on the furnace (which works OK) cold air begins to flow from the ceiling vents which are supposed to be for the A/C. How do I fix this? We are new Keystone owners and I could not find any help on their webpage. Thanks, Gale

Welcome to the forum

Find the thermostat and set the FAN to AUTO.

It almost sounds like you have a heat pump type A/C unit. I don't know if your trailer is of the era where they came with optional heat pump units or not, but you might want to look into that possibility.

If it’s low velocity air your feeling then it’s probably from the furnace ductwork creating airflow in the rv…your getting a draft through the ductwork from the return through to the supply registers …it’s lightly pressurizing the ac ductwork.

You could put a cover over the ac return or block it off inside the access plate…just remember to remove before you try and run the ac…I’d put a taped note next to the thermostat…

If it’s the regular velocity air flow you feel then I agree with the others ..the fan is set to “on”…..although the fan would run continuously in this mode even after the furnace cycled off

Might also see if the thermostat has AUX. I think that was where mine wanted to be for the furnace.
