New Maxxis tire?

So I tried to order new set of Maxxis 235/80/16E tires from Discount Tire and they can no longer get this tire. Supposedly Maxxis replace it with a M008+ 6PRTL. Any know anything about this tire any where can I get the specs on them?

Here's the "official Maxxis M8008 ST tire site: https://www.maxxis.com/us/tire/m8008-st-radial/

I'm guessing whoever gave you that "model number" either stated it wrong or you heard it wrong ?????

Maxxis ST M8088 tires are no longer listed in the Discount Tire website search engine (at least I couldn't find them) so maybe DT is no longer carrying the brand/tire ?????

Have you looked at Carlisle Radial Trail HD tires? Check pricing at WalMart.com. DT will usually honor the WalMart price saving you a few bucks.

Yes DT quoted me this tire Carlisle CSL 16 at $1012.00 but my wheels will not support this tire...looking at Carlsile E load range today or Goodyear Endurace

If you're looking to "improve total rated capacity", take a look at the Carlisle Radial Trail HD 235 85R16 LRF 3960 lbs @ 95PSI. WalMart has a set of 4 for $699.80 https://www.walmart.com/ip/Set-of-4-...e&athbdg=L1700

These "could" meet your needs and save you about $500 if you like them.
