I am also looking at these tires, at https://www.discounttire.com/buy-tir...-a-ko2/p/10374

My current tires are P rated 113, and the D rating of these is 115; will the 8 ply and increased side wall be enough, or should I find an E rated tire?

Thanks
Brian

I installed the BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 last September after blowing out a tire in Utah.

The OEM tire size on my truck was P275/55R20, unfortunately BF Goodrich only offers a D rated LT tire in that size. I looked at it as a significant improvement over the Goodyear P rated OEM tires. I did do some research after getting back from that camping trip and found very few manufacturers offered an All Terrain LT tire at an E rating (80lbs max pressure) at that tire size.

So far after a very little amount of time towing and not towing, I am happy with the tire.

Don't forget that the Load Capacity of P-type tires must be de-rated by dividing by 1.10 whenever P-type are used on Trailers, Trucks or Multi-purpose vehicles like SUV's/

I have ran the KO2 before they are a good tire, I am now on my second set of Falken wildpeaks A/T3W tires and in my opinion they are a much better tire than the KO"S.
The Falkens are about the best A/T tire going right now.
