Radio not adequate

Hi I'm new at this so please bear with me. I'm looking for a direct fit radio for a 2004 Hornet. Can anyone suggest a good fit? Thank you.

I faced the same issue. I have a 2002 and it had a radio, double cassette player and 5 CD player. The CD player didn't work and I no longer have cassette tapes. I first had to figure out how to get the old one out. They put self tapping screws up from under through the shelf of the "entertainment center" into the bottom of the old unit. I took off the outside panel under the shelf and unscrewed the screws holding the main unit. I measured the thing and went onto Facebook Marketplace and bought one that was the same size and used my original speakers. I think it is a Sony and everything works now. If you want one the same size, new ones just don't exist as these things were shelf models used almost 20 years ago. Mine came from a pawn shop and they claimed to have tested everything and I guess they did. They didn't have a remote control so you have to push buttons to work the thing. One thing I learned is that it has a "DEMO MODE" which doesn't allow you to change anything; just scrolls all the functions across the display... took awhile to figure that out!

BTW: Original installed by Keystone was an RCA and the used one I bought is a Sony. I left the RCA speakers in and just used them as they are already fitted and sound as good as the Sony. You just want to watch that the CD changer is on the face of the unit and not on the top if it fits into a recess in your entertainment center.
