Typically, the pump is rated at 2.9 - 3.5 GPM. Anywhere in that range will work for an RV. The issue is which fitting type is on YOUR trailer? Buying a pump with the same type fittings will make the changeout much easier.
I'd also recommend a strainer to add to the inlet from the water tank. There's always sand, silt and even sawdust/plastic drill shavings in the tank. If they get sucked up into the pump head, they can destroy a pump or cause water pressure/pump run issues. A FloJet strainer costs about $8 at Amazon and a ShurFlo strainer about $10. The strainers are designed to work with the pump fittings, so they, like the pumps, are not interchangeable from brand to brand.
