Measure the opening of your washer-dryer area, width and height. Then also measure the depth. Then do an internet search for RV washer dryer, RV stackable washer dryer, RV combo washer dryer. You will probably get about 2 companies that make washer and driers for RV, Splendide being one of them. Look at their products and check out the stats for their units and see which one fits best.

Let me just say, you will be very disappointed with the performance of a combo non vented unit. Save your money and use a laundromat.

I've not owned a non vented combo....but almost did. After reading up and talking to many owners the cons far outweighed any pros. That, by itself, drove me to buy a full profile 5th wheel vs a lower trailer that required a combo. Between the increased humidity. Some say there isn't but the guy, selling the trailer and the combo unit, standing in front of me, living in an RV with one said "don't".

A dryer on 110 is not very effective. After he mentioned that the clothes would never get dry I said maybe we should just "hang out some clotheslines" in jest. He said that is exactly what he did plus laying his clothes all over the furniture to let them finish drying. Said if left in the dryer to actually get dried they were so wrinkled they were unwearable for work (lived in a Reflection on the dealership grounds). That's when we went with a full profile with stackable Splendide - love them.

To each his own but just a heads up on what we've been told (by more than that one guy) and read.

We had installed the Splendide stackalbe DV6400X dryer and WFL1300XD washer. Both are 110 volt. The washing machine is very fickle. What that means is, if it's loaded too little it becomes unbalanced on the spin cycle. If it's loaded too much, it gets out of balance also. There's a fine line. It does wash very nice, uses a little more than 8 gallons of water a load (and the quick cycle), and takes about 45 minutes to run, even though the timer says 30. The dryer runs very well. It is vented, but it does take about 90 minutes to dry one load. The same load in our house would be done in 20-30 minutes easy.

If boom docking, this is not the set up for you. But if water is unlimited, and draining your holding tanks is readily available, for the convenience, these are well worth the cost, and definately much better than using a laundry mat.

They are not cheap, so you really have to weigh the price vs the convenience of never having to go to a laundry mat again. About power? Well, if at a campground and you've paid for the camp site and electric was included, then the power is not an issue.

At home, we use the washing machine too. Our fifth wheel sits in our drive way and we virtually live in it year round, especially since I have available water, sewer, and 50 amp electricity.

The set up simplified our lives tremendously. I only wish we would have gotten the washer and dryer when the camper was brand new. It would have saved a LOT of time sitting at laundry mats when we could have been walking a trail.

About the combo unit. I understand they do not dry all that well. I don't know what that means, since my vented unit seems to take a long time too. But this much I do know, the humidity released from the dryer has to go somewhere and unless you have windows open and fans blowing, that water that evaporates and leaves the dryer settles somewhere. It doesn't just magically disappear if you have a non-vented dryer, like Lucky Charms!

So far sounds like the vented one works the best. Others opinions welcome
