New Member from AZ/CO

Not new to RV'ing but new to this group.

My wife and I are part time full timers keeping our current 5th wheel (35' Forest River Sandstorm toy hauler livable from 40°F to 90°F) at Lake Pleasant RV Park spending the winter months there and staying at our Colorado home when I can keep the road plowed of snow the rest of the time.

Our two daughters live in Phoenix which is why we keep the rig at the lake full time. Neither one has room for us to stay with them. My wife is still working which is another reason though she is now allowed to work remotely.

We ordered a Cougar 24RDS which arrived at the dealer yesterday. Our plan is to sell the Sandstorm and travel occasionally with the Cougar while still living in it at the lake. The shorter length of the Cougar will be easier to travel with and the 4 season rating should make life more bearable when we have to be in it in July/August in the desert and travelling in colder weather in the winter. We ordered it with two AC's and dual pane windows which should keep us more comfortable than our current arrangement.

I'll follow up with updates on issues I will have with the new 24RDS in the appropriate forum. I'll also follow up if I have no issues...wishful thinking.

Gary

Hello, Gary welcome to you and your DW to the forum!

Think you will enjoy the Cougar, there are many folks here who own one.

Take care!
