Only if you are using water from the fresh water tank, off if you are connected to city water.

ok, is this something "new"? Did the light just start to stay on or has it always done this? If you wire the switch "backwards" the indicator light will be constantly illuminated. In other words, if the "load side" of the switch is connected to the battery line and the battery side of the switch is connected to the load side.

As for the tanks being mislabeled that's a very common occurrence. Your choices are ignore it, try to remove and reapply the labels, or remove and apply new labels .

Do you have a water pump switch inside AND outside at a convenience center?

If not then it’s simple to change it.

I've had the trailer since last August and happen to notice that the light is on either way,I bought the trailer like that and no dealer has been able to give me an answer, I did switch the hots and no light on at all so. I put back the way it was I just wanted to find out if that's the way it is.

OK. So now we've established it's the water pump indicator light that stays on and not the pump correct? Also it was that way when you purchased it and you replaced the switch. Maybe a Pic of the back of the switch and how the wires are connected would help.

The bathroom 'Haven't found once anywhere else except the bathroom that light is on all the time it's blue"
Haven't found what once? What's "blue" and how is that relevant?

Marshall: I believe he was answering me, only 1 switch (in the bathroom) and it’s lit blue all the time

OP: been a while, but I f I remember right, you switch the center with the upper and it only lights when “ON”.

OK Chuck, makes sense.
Most 12 V single pole single throw illuminated switches I've seen are wired as below.

There has to be a valve you switch. Is there a compartment on the outside where you connect city water and rinse the black tank?

Typically there is a valve inside on the winterizing line that you have to open to suck the antifreeze -- otherwise, the pump would be sucking air from that line.

The valves should be labeled with "on" and "off". It can be confusing with on & off as opposed to open or closed but think of on as a valve in the open position and off as closed.

The valve handle can be confusing as well as some use the long portion of the valve handle as the "pointer" (like the hands on a analog clock).

The winterizing port runs in conjunction with your water pump. I found that you need to have a washer with the screen to "push in" the valve on the winterizing port.

When I lose my last one, I buy more at my local Ace. They're pretty common.
