Hi all, from Alberta, Canada. We are currently seriously looking at a Raptor or Fusion toyhauler, fifth wheel.
We are concerned about the CCC. Trying to keep under 40 ft in length. Going to be hauling a Honda Pioneer so need an 11 ft garage. We need close to 4000 CCC which includes fresh water, Fuel, LP , toy and then food, gear, clothes. We will be travelling for months at a time and maybe living in it when at home base. Thoughts?
We had a 2007 300mp with a 10 ft garage, and it carried two quads no issues, but it had a CCC of just over 4000 lbs. SxS doesn't fit.
On one weight sticker on a 2014 Fusion we looked at it had just over 3000 CCC but it mentioned this weight with full water? Is that correct, do I now still have 3000 for toy, food and clothes? Hubby says yes, I'm not so sure, one other person online says no, you must subtract water from 3000 CCC, which leaves me nothing left for supplies after loading sxs.
Very confused

Some more detail might help. What model Fusion? You state needing nearly 4k CCC and then state you're looking at 3k excluding water?
Bottom line is take the empty weight and subtract it from the max weight and you have the load capacity. The load capacity includes EVERYTHING not installed at the factory like batteries, lp tanks and liquid, water, black and gray tank contents, food, drinks, cloths, linens, pots/pans, eating utensils, clothing, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, water hoses, drain hoses, tire chocks, cover for the picnic table, Kids toys, etc.

I understand how to get to CCC, we are confused that sticker on RV gives the water weight and CCC. Basically did they fill with water, weigh trailer and come up with CCC remaining? This is not UVW. Or the 3000 CCC does not take water weight into account. If that is the case, most toyhauler are useless for carrying anything more than one ATV, or a couple of motorbikes.

Do you have a picture of the sticker your referencing? The factory would not fill the water tank then weigh the unit.

Post a pic of the sticker or a link to the trailer stats and there is enough experience on here to help you figure it all out.
