Nothing beats hot buttered popcorn (w/real butter) and salt but lately I have been getting into the fiddle faddle caramel popcorn. Lived it as a kid and now it’s is only a dollar a box and dollar store. Yum.

A day without popcorn with lots of butter and salt is like a day without sunshine. I use Pop Weavers and add Johnny's Popcorn Salt. Yeah I know butter and salt are both bad for me but corn is a vegetable so that evens things out.

I use a Whirley Pop popper with a medium white popcorn that I get locally. I make it with GFS popping oil and Flavacol salt(also available at GFS). When I run out of the GFS oil, I'll use either coconut oil or Orville Redenbacher's oil.

Proportions I use:
1/4 cup popcorn
2 teaspoons oil
1/2 teaspoon salt

This gives me a nice small bowl of popcorn amounting to 190 calories.

I also like the baby white popcorn from the same company.

Must be Yellow popcorn, either Jolly Time or peanut oil in a Stir Crazy popper topped with salt for me and season all salt for the lady. Popper goes with in the camper.

Add sugar in the popper with the kernels and oil for GREAT Kettle Corn!!!
