300mp Raptor Toyhauler Tank Questions

Can someone explain the holding tanks grey 1/2 black 1/2 on this rv. Is there any other shut off valves that need to be closed other than what is in the side compartent? I have the valves closed but they are not working.

When you say "they are not working", what specifically isn't working? The lights on your control panel. They aren't lighting, they aren't lighting correctly...?

My Raptor 300MP has three shut off valves. Two in the compartment under the outside shower. My left one is for the black tank (Black1 on the control panel), my right one is for my primary grey tank (Grey1). I have another valve just to the right of where the sewer line connects. This is for the washing machine (Grey2). There is no Black2 tank but there is a light for you to ignore.

I have the valves shut off, I can put water in the black tank, and the water still comes out when I remove the end cap.

If you have all three valves closed, add water to any tank and it comes straight out the sewer line, you have a bad valve that needs to be looked at.

Thanks, that's what I was thinking, but was hoping there was a magic switch I didn't know about somewhere.

If its the black tank it may have "stuff" stuck in the valve. Try putting 20-30 gallons of clean water in the tank and working the valve open and closed a few times. That may help.

I believe the front two valves (in the box) are cable operated. I'm not sure if there is an adjustment on them. Our black tank has never sealed properly, always get a suprise when I take the cap off to dump.

I was hoping there was some debris caught in it but I haven't been able to get it to flush out.

The trailer is 2 months old (2012 300MP), black tank valve has leaked since day one.
