Website slow response

For a couple of days the website has been kind of choking up seems to me but this evening it's getting pretty bad. I like looking at the little whirling circle waiting for the site to respond but I'm getting dizzy now Is there an issue or am I dreaming? I don't think it's my laptop or my network because I can zip thru FNC much quicker than I can here....and FNC is pretty slow.

Really slow through the tapatalk interface right now, is all I can say. Not complaining, just confirming. Long waits between page loads.

The site seems to be a bit sluggish over the last 2 days. If it continues, I'll get in touch with the Administrator to see what the problem might be.

A little better today on the east coast but it still looks like the admin needs to tweak it a bit.

Howdy All;

Took almost a minute for the system to move me to here from the Home
page, just now. Took almost as long to move from a thread to the Home
page.
Truly need to "Rotor-Rooter" the system. Got timed out 2 days ago waiting
for the pages to turn ...

Thanks Festus2. It's still an issue today. Hopefully the admin can get it straight soon; I can't keep up with the posts

What was that old song???

"Slower today than yesterday, but not as slow as tomorrow....."

It seems to be no better today than yesterday. It takes 30 seconds or more to change from one page to another and even longer to search or check profiles.....

I am looking into this and do not see any issues with the forum itself. I have opened a ticket with the hosting company to see if they can diagnose what is being reported.

My internet connection is slow and I can get on site most times quickly.

More times than not , connection problem are local, as is in your PC.

Do some local clean up and I bet you will a happy camper

Do a few basic clean up tasks, Disk clean up and defrag, Google will more than guide you how to do both.

It may not hurt to delete browsing history and make sure disk clean up removed everything from your trash bin.

Those simple tasks do wonders.

It's been slow for a while for me as well.

Probably matter more when the camping season starts

In this house I have 40mb service using a brand new laptop.....no need to clean the drive, defrag, work on network etc. Also tried to use my desktop in my office in the other room....same issue. No issues with other websites. Previous poster seems to be pointing out the problem....which it very much acts like.
