First travel trailer.

Traded in a jayco pop up. Like it, but couldn't stand the noise the canvas let in from the campgrounds. Seems like every campground someone doesn't understand the quiet time hours. So just got my first travel trailer. 2011 Keystone Outback 210rs. It was perfect as far as the specs I wanted. It was basically get this one or none. It worked out and it is at our house. Looking forward to camping some this year. The boys baseball really limits it though. Not looking forward to hauling 5000 pounds for the first time. I have a Ford F150 with 5.o liter engine so it should do the job. I'm sure multiple question with follow this year so I'm counting on you guy expertise.

Congrats on your new rig , hope you get lots of time out in it... and

We did much the same, started camping in our van, when the kids were babies, upgraded to a 2 room tent, a pop up and now, the youngest is about to turn 30 and we bought our first travel trailer, 1 year ago this week.

I am looking forward to retiring and dragging the wheels off of it.

So how does your 5.0 do towing your trailer ? I love mine but towing I was wondering about the torque.

We have taken several trips pulling the trailer with it, around 5000 miles so far.

Our inaugural trip was to the Big Bend region of TX (~1200 miles) and then the next 2 longest were the Rockies of Colorado (~1600 mile) & the Ozarks of Arkansas (~900 miles) and it has towed just fine, usually averaging 11 MPG.

For the 2 of us, the F150 and 22RBPR is the perfect combination.
