Either get a french press or a Mellita coffee maker. It is the only thing I ever use in the trailer - hookups or not. I don't have a coffee maker in the trailer and the coffee tastes much better anyway. The Mellita takes the cone coffee filters you see in the store. You heat the water in a tea kettle and pour it through the grounds. Easy!
The only thing different when I have hookups is I can warm the second and third cups in the microwave, otherwise I keep it on low in a pot on the stove.
Ok....I'm spoiled. We camp with full hook ups. We've decided this year to go camping at one of the local race tracks which means we have no hook ups. I'm an early riser, sometimes early as 4 am. and I'd like a morning coffee but don't want to wake everyone with the generator. I don't like instant coffee. Any ideas would be welcome.
I use a french press that I got at WalMart. It makes great coffee and no electricity needed.
