Talking Greetings from MS

Hello all,
First off I would like to say that this site is filled with valuable information. Everyone seems very helpful with questions..

We are about to pull the plug on a new Montana 3750FL. Does anyone have any experience with this model. What are your likes and dislikes.

Thanks for the welcome.
This will be the 4th RV the wife and I have purchased. Each time we have progressed to a larger unit. Hopefully this one will be big enough to handle our needs. Both of our Daughters were raised camping and its now time to start taking the Grand daughter along with us more. She went on a week long trip with us earlier this summer and when she got home she told her mom and dad she wanted to come live with us. Boy did I get into some hot water over that.
Labs. We are from Hattiesburg and moved down to Purvis around three years ago. I know several people who went to NF.
See ya at the EGG BOWL

to the Keystone forum. FYI, there is a forum specifically designed for Montana owners which may be to your liking as well as this one of course. I'm not trying to send you elsewhere, just providing you with another source of help and information over at the Montana forum.

I hope you decide to stay with us and benefit from the experience and expertise of our members - especially the Montana owners who hang out here.

Welcome to the forum. We're glad you happened by and decided to stay a while. I was born in McComb, "escaped" for a number of years after high school, moved back to central Louisiana in the 80's and still think of SW MS as a great place to call home.

As for the Montana Forum. a number of members here have talked about the difficulty registering there. Keep at it, I don't know of any "secret handshake" or "password" that assures easy membership. LOL

You are 100% right.
It's one of those deals where you just have to experience it to understand it.

From west KY!!! I have the same unit you are talking about with the Big Sky package. You are going to love it. There are several members with this same unit and you will find them very helpful.

DK,
We got great news from the dealer last night. We have agreed on the numbers and things are looking very good. It was hard to refuse the deal when he offered to take a bit over 42k off the MSRP. My wife is going up to pre inspect it today and finalize things for the purchase. I'm looking forward to taking it on its maiden voyage when I get home from Singapore.

The BIG SKY package....Im drooling. They are sweet

If you're currently in Singapore, does that mean you're military? My DW and SIL were assigned there a few years back. He was on the support team for transient aircraft.

Actually I am in the middle of the Indian Ocean on my way to Singapore. I work in the oil and gas industry and we are taking our Drill Ship to Singapore for upgrades.

Happy in NC

Hello all. I have had the 3750 since 2/2011 (it is a late model 2010) and sadly have had several issues since day one. Some been fixed by the dealer and some by me. Does it keep me from loving it? No way :-) I love it all over again every time I get it from storage and take it out. Just a small list of issues;

1. holding tank wiring not correctly installed (took 2 110 mile trips to dealer to finally fix).
2. leak from the shower (not properly caulked) into bedroom flooding floor.
3. plugged drain, in washer drain, flooding bathroom floor (same weekend as shower flood, unfortunately after i had cleaned up the first mess).
4. landing gear cross bar retaining pin sheared during hookup and had to raise the unit on one leg to repair.

This is the third new unit I have received and understand the "quirks" associated with new unit delivery. Again, I am happy with my unit overall but it seems I got a Friday afternoon unit

Hi and I also own the same year and model. had very good luck with mine. I think the production cycle on a keystone is 7 working days so we all get a monday and a friday unit. When I worked for Saab we jokingly had a factory worker named Gerta Screwupstine. where ever she worked on the assembly line that part was always put on wrong or broken. I think Saab fired her and she came to the US and got a job at keystone!! When mine was built she did the trim work, forgot the nails!! But like you everytime it use it i just fall in love with it again. enjoy the adventures Camp happy! also i have tired to get into the MOG i finally gave up besides everyone here is nice.

Skeeter the only things that ticked me of was the clear glass in the bathroom door Wall paper for windows fixed that and the 8 stupid cabinets 4 over the bed 4 over the dinnet, that open upward without a support arm to keep them open. Camping world had spring struts quick fix. It has been a great unit and we love it.
