Slide weight

Hello all,

I have a 2021 keystone sprinter limited 3550DEN….I want to put two Ashley recliners (137 lbs per recliner) in one of the slides. I can’t find how much weight I can put in the slides. Thanks pj

Whatever is in the slide right now has to come out......even swap. I couldn't find much about a 3550.

I have a 2002 Cougar with a long "super slide" and swapped the sleep sofa and booth dinette out for recliners and an Ikea table and chairs. Not sure if there is any spec for slide weight limits but suspect whatever you take out of your slide won't be a big weight difference than the recliners you are considering. Make sure that the backs come out of the recliners or you will need a can opener to get them in. Ours slip right out and putting the recliners in our 5th wheel was a snap.

If you are removing the original furniture and replacing with the recliners, I think your slide will be fine. The slides are made to "slide" on rollers, not be lifted up, like on a fork lift. It doesn't take much to "roll", even a heavy weight. It does takes a lot to "lift" that same weight.
