Sprinter Limited front cap LEDs won’t turn off

We have a 2022 Sprinter Limited 3590LFT we just picked up Friday. We noticed that the LED strip that goes across the front cap stays on constantly. We’ve turned off every switch we can find and nothing turns it off.

I would think the switch labeled “clearance lights” would turn it off but it doesn’t, it only turns the lights off inside the battery bay and outside light under the hitch.

The only way I could get it off was to pull the fuse marked “exterior lights “

How do I turn this thing off?

Use the remote. Happened to me on our 2021 Sprinter (lights and awnings). If you use the remote to turn on you have to use remote to shut off.

Pardon my ignorance but I’m not sure what remote I would need to use. The lights were on when I picked it up on Friday. I don’t recall them showing me a remote to use to.

I'm assuming you have a remote. Ours has a holder on the wall right next to the control panel. Maybe it's in a bag with other stuff? It should have a charger for it too.

Nope. I don’t have a remote on the wall. I checked the bag with the manuals and nothing in there. The only remotes I have are for the tv, the fireplace, and the sound bar. I have the In-command Lite system with just the little switch plate

Is this something I need to use the in-command phone app for?

I don't have in-command so can't help you there but I'm pretty sure you should have a remote for the awnings/lights.

On our Avalanche the switch is in the compartment by the hydraulic unit. It's on the wall toward the back of the camper. But it's a black switch on a black wall, so you have to look for it. Good luck!

There's no switch outside near the front battery compartment door?

I have looked everywhere for a switch. I've searched the battery compartment are with a fine tooth comb, and nothing. I've searched over the basement area and nothing.

I have even called Keystone and they didn't offer much help either, but they said they'd have a product specialist reach back out to me, which hasn't happened yet.

That's strange - ours is outside under the overhang next to the front compartment door. LOL - Wonder where they hid yours...

Yeah this is the weirdest. I’ve tried the In-command app and nothing in there. I’ve looked all over for it.

Have you asked where you purchased the RV about a remote? My 2021 Sprinter has no switches to turn on and off. Just the remote and the control panel. Should be something like 2"x2" squarish remote with touch screen. If they've been on since you picked it up I would bet they turned on with remote and didn't give it to you.

My TT has a switch at the water control area for the cap lights. Maybe check that location. Good Luck!

I have the In-Command Lite which only has the simple, 2 button control panel for the In-Command system. Would you mind sharing a picture of your remote? Its possible I may be missing that one.
