Full-time Mattress

Another vote for Wilderness RV mattresses. Not cheap but man is it comfortable. I sleep better in the rig than I do in my bed at home.

To the OP: we went from the mattress that came with the camper to a Sealy from Lowe’s. No good, my back was horrible. I called MattressInsider and the gentleman asked what Sealy it was, he looked it up on the Lowe’s website and made a recommendation of a topper we could try. He also made a recommendation of a mattress we could try if the topper on the Sealy wasn’t good.

We ended up buying the mattress and the topper & couldn’t be happier.

Mattressinsider.
We went from the factory "woven dried corn stalks" to 2 4" thick toppers. That seemed ok for about a year., But.... They collapse onto that hard board base.
Finely on the Mattressinsider 9" thick inerspring firm. That is excellent. They were "onsale" @ a bit over $825. Comes compressed, expands in minutes. (Carefully cut 1/2 way toward the middle so you don't need to wrestle it)
Expands & no odors like the toppers.

Our S&B has a king size pier bed without a box spring. So our camper mattress is the exact same model in the queen size as the house. Both are built and sold by the Original Mattress Factory in Cleveland. Not only do they make your mattress, 2 sided I might add, but you buy directly from them. We've bought a few mattresses from them. Some of our out of state friends too!

I pulled the Sealy off the bed in the house put it in the camper the day I brought it home bought a new identical one for the bedroom in the house
