Broken screw

I have a cougar half ton 2018 25RES and a couple of years ago I turned too tight of a corner and caught a rock an broke the head off the hanging strap screw that supports the neck of the black wast tube. Now the strap is loose and not connected. Does anyone know what screw I need to replace it with and what size ? Also how deep to screw it in so I don’t damage anything in the underbelly? Would appreciate any help as I don’t want to make it worse.
Thanks.

If the strap is screwed into the frame, any stainless steel self tapping screw will work. We use 2” with a 3/8” hex head. You

Make, model, year of your rv & a picture of what strap & screw head you're referring to would be extremely helpful in repair advice.

A picture would be good. If it is just like a metal galvanized pipe hanger strap where it screwed into the underside would be helpful to know as too long could damage something. You said you broke the head off, can you back out the remainder to see how long it was?
