Entry Door Curtain or Blind

Daughters fifth wheel came with a full glass door. Once upon a time there must have been a blind or curtain between it and the screen door. It's gone now and before we start fabbing our own something to put there I thought I might add a few pics and maybe someone has seen this type before and tell us what to look for to order something.

Didn't turn my phone right when I took pics so they sideways

Dexter (the axle people) also make entry doors. I looked on LCI’s site after my reply and didn’t see them, my old age is starting to show. I did work on one at my last employer.

looks like there was a day/night pleated shade mounted to the two metal pieces above and below the window. measure the width of thoes bars and the distance between them and go to a rv rapair / parts place and give them the info and let them find it. wont be cheep but you'll probably get the same thing that was originaly there.

I have actually seen 2 of those on old RV's both made differently. One had a roll up shade between the screen and door and the other had a blind type shade on the inside on the screen door. Looked to me like the inside would be the easiest to use.

Are you wanting something for privacy’s sake or to block the sun? If just for privacy, you could apply some privacy mac tac.

I'd suspect that the OEM door window probably had a curtain on it, based on the top/bottom rails mounted on the door. It probably was an opaque version of this photo.

As a replacement, you might consider a "homemade version" of something similar, or you could buy a custom mini-blind to mount over the window. With a properly placed open/close wand, you could operate the miniblind through the screen door opening. Or you could consider a roller shade to pull down or even a closed cell blind that can be optioned as "pull down only" or "open/close from top or bottom"....

Here's one place to order a custom sized aluminum mini-blind: https://www.amazon.com/Custom-Made-I...NrPXRydWU&th=1

Here's a link to order a custom sized closed cell blind: https://www.amazon.com/Keego-Blackou...39&sr=8-4&th=1

There are lots of options, more based on wallet considerations than on what would cover the window for privacy.....

Limo tint would be good. Only problem with tint is that it’s visible where the light is. Basically, during the day, the light is outside and you can see out not in, at night, the light is inside so you can see in, not out. Real dark like limo tint would make it so you can basically see shadows/silhouettes if someone walks past it. I’d go to Home Depot/Lowes and get the decorative film if it was mine. Only problems is that makes the window useless. Could hang a curtain or blind from shoulder height down so you can still look out, but people won’t see anything below that level looking in. That would probably look strange as well.
