Cougar Electrical Question

I know that the Cougar are wired for 50 amp service, my question is since this would be L1 110v, L2 110v, does anything use 220v service across L1 and L2 or is it all just 110?

I would guess not as that would make a dog bone 30amp adapter useless as well as not allowing the use of anything that was 220 in a 30 amp environment.

Thanks

Well that may be true from the factory, but we have installed RV Comfort Systems “Cheap Heat” and tap both legs to access 240 volts on a 30 amp breaker for the 5,000 watt rating. You can get a “Tandem Quad” 30/50 breaker. It a double 240 breaker that has two half space 50 amp in the center and two half space 30 amp on the outside that are tied together.
