Hello from the PNW!

My name is Bob, and my wife is Teresa. We are new to RV’s, but not to trailer pulling. I have been reading posts here for a couple weeks now, to get a feel for the general attitude about its members. Seems like a decent bunch over all, only a few that are a little full of themselves! So I guess more than anything, you all have made me think. Yes I went out and checked my sticker to check my tire and loading information. Thank you, glad to be here, Bob.

Hello Bob, welcome to you and Teresa to the forum!

Glad to hear you are checking tire pressures and loading information; it is important to those things.

Enjoy your travels, and take care!

Welcome to the forum from W TX. Remember that pulling a "trailer" ie; flatbed, etc. is nothing compared to an RV; a high walled, 13'6" box - lot of different dynamics at play.

Thanks Sourdough for the clarification! My other trailers have been large in closed car trailers, so similar in size but a bit lighter. Even with a 4500 lbs. vehicle still under 10K. My Cougar weighs in at 11,400 +++ so figuring close to 16K going down the road. Yikes!

Welcome! Just passed through Puyallup. I don't know how anyone can deal with I-5, pulling an RV or not. But for those who do "good-on-ya".
Enjoy your RV and Safe Travels
