Montana versus maxair II

I bought 2 maxx airs but the power vents are too high, they pick the vent up. What should I use?

We install them all the time. I just lift the vent lid a little bit, which allows me to attach the front brackets. then place the cover for maximum lid movement. I use a pen to mark where the brackets will attach to the frame.

Then install brackets and attach vent cover. When you press “open” the lid will raise and hit the cover. When it does it senses resistance and stops.
