New to RV from Little City, Ok

Hi there from Little City, Ok. We are Ed & Chris and just purchased a 2004 Challenger, which is in extremely good shape. We are learning about it, how to care for it, and making lists of what NOT to forget. Hoping those of you with "all the experience" will share and keep us on the road. We did a one nighter recently at beautiful Bridgeview Resort on Lake Texoma and everything was fantastic. We set up in "west" camp and were 15 feet from the edge of the lake. Caught a few fish within spitting distance of our front door and had friends over for a nice fire after the OU/OSU game. No real plans for future trips yet, still thinking, looking, and learning.

Hello fellow Okie! We're in Edmond. We're recent transplants here from Colorado and points beyond. So far we've camped Lake Murray and Beavers Bend, both near you, and Tenkiller which is farther away. But, y'all might be natives so you know where all the good spots are

Anywho - enjoy and hope to see ya around.

No fish in Beavers Bend. I repeat...no fish in Beavers Bend. No fish in the river near Hickory Campground, especially in that big hole behind the dumpster. No sir, no fish.
Welcome to the forum.
Nicest casino campground I've found so far is Winstar in Thackerville, OK.
