Entry Keypad

There is a keypad under the door lock that seems to be dead. Are these things actually supposed to work? Can't find anything in the manual about it and pushing the buttons don't do anything, no light/beep, just dead.

Have you tried changing the batteries?

I thought there may be a battery somewhere but don't know where to look for it. Don't think it's meant to be removed from the outside. I'll have to look on the inside of the door later to see if there's any kind of access panel to it. If there is I'd still need to find some instructions on how to program it.

I'd just stick with using your keys. There was a recent thread on here about keypad locks and keypad locks failing. just something else to go wrong.

The instructions are probably on the inside of the lock once you take it apart from the inside. Regardless, it will only lock and unlock the deadbolt. Good luck. If you can see what the brand is, do an on line search. The directions will be there too.

Probably an after market one like RVlock. Has batteries to run it and they can be remote of the pad. https://www.rvlock.com/collections/a...ad-replacement
