Head Room

anyone out there with a Cougar 327 RES having problems knocking their head at night when going to or getting out of bed. Not sure what to do about this. Probable my only real complaint at this time with RV.

Had a 318SAB 5th wheel and had the same problem. Seemed to be worse when I had a few cocktails. Also I am taller than average so the top of the slideout is at the right height. Does hurt when you get up quick.

28SGS did the same thing to me. It's doing it to someone else now.
Although, in hindsight, it doesn't seem too bad now.

At one time I thought I might have that issue but now that I've shrunk several inches over the decades I find that I have to reach up to grab the edge above the bed to get up.....

Our slides are high enough, but the framework above at the pocket door between the bath and the bedroom has been my problem. At 6'2", I have developed an automatic reflex to duck when walking through the opening. It has taken a couple years, and now rarely hit my head, but have lost quite a bit of hide and blood from my bald head from that low point.
