Santee Lakes (San Diego)

Have a home a couple of miles from Santee Lakes. Brought our TT to San Diego for our insurance co. to photograph. We decided to take a Staycation here to give the trailer a shakedown before leaving the state.
Been here a few days. Santee is a rural town in close proximity to area interests.
We have biked, hiked and fished here many times before but never camped.
This is a nice park tucked into rolling hills with a neighborhood visible and close by. Many full-timers spaces with full hookups cable and internet for those that might be interested but I am certain that it fills for the winter fast. We are in a short timers campground at the waters edge with full hookups as well.
I would recommend this place to anyone traveling through San Diego that wanted a nice tranquil place as they took in the local attractions.
Always happy to answer fellow travelers questions so feel free to PM.

We stayed there several years ago and love it. It is a perfect place to be near San Diego but in a tranquil setting.

Santee Lakes almost always gets great reviews at RVParkReviews. That sure looks nicer than Google Earth makes it seem. Catch anything?

Thanks for the review. We might be moving to San Diego so this would be a great spot to stay at while we locate a house.
