Something to add to your PDI lists: Have the tech show you how to remove all the drawers in the trailer. Sooner or later you will want to clean back there or something will fall down in there. I usually put mouse baits in there on the floor when I winterize plus I remove the lower drawers so that mice can not nest in them.

I have used this checklist while taking delivery of 3 different brand new trailers/fifth wheels and found at least 10 issues that needed fixing on each before I would take delivery or hand over money. If done correctly this list will save you unesseccary warranty trips to the dealer in your first year.
Good luck.

Very neat list!
Can see potential for use in buying a used rig from a private party as well.
Kudos.

Congrats on you new purchase, now comes one of the most significant part of your purchase, your Walk through. Great that you picked up a PDI list, I suggest if you have not already to make the dealer aware that you are planning a thorough walk through so he can schedule a tech.

A Three to Four hour walk through in my eyes is not unusual. May also want to start thinking of how you want to handle discrepancies found such as fix immediately, list and include in sales document, etc. Be prepared to address those discrepancies requiring warranty approval and ordered parts.

Enjoy your big day

Something else to add to your checklist, Check that the drainage plumbing is connected correctly as follows

Drain the grey and black tanks completely
Close the valves
Run a few gallons of water into all the sinks and the shower
Now go out and open the black water drain valve. Nothing should come out
Open the grey water valve and completely drain the grey tank and close the valves again
Now run a few gallons of water through the toilet.
Open the grey water drain valve and nothing should come out.
Open the black water drain valve and drain the tank. Close both valves.

Recently I came across a thread where the buyer of a new trailer had found crossed drain plumbing in his travel trailer. As unbelievable as this might seem at first, these trailers are assembled by people, and people make mistakes, especially when they're pushed as hard as the RV industry seems to push their assembly line workers.
