Refrigerator question

Hi everyone I was looking in my new refrigerator and saw these wires and plug hanging unattached. I think it should be attached to the thermistor which is no where to be found. It is in a norcold 2118x. It has an LCD screen with temperature adjustments so should there be a thermistor?

Just out of curiosity have you opened the outside panel to see if it has been reversed and that the thermistor is hanging in there.

No I haven't opened the outside. I just noticed the plug hanging yesterday inside. I wasn't sure if there should be one since it has a temp control on LCD screen.

I pulled off the outside cover and didn't see it anywhere.

Unfortunately it was probably borrowed to repair another unit that had a problem at the dealer...they possibly ordered one but used yours until it arrived and then your unit sold?..i would check with the service dept and see if one is on order, someone may have just forgot to replace.
