campgroung reservations and trailer length

Being new I'm not really sure about this one. When making a reservation and they ask for the trailer lenght am I supposed to give them the total lenght or just living space? The trailer I purchesed is 33' total including hitch but 29' of living space.

I've always given total length (31' in my case) and never had a problem. I would rather have extra space than struggle to squeeze in or maybe be turned away. (Not likely but I have been in some that set a limit at 35') ..... Hank
