Dometic fridge

We woke up to our fridge temp being 43f. It was cool in the fridge but nor cold. Put blocks of ice in the fridge till service could come out. Next day fridge was working fine. Any ideas? It did flash a communication code once. Doors closed and sealed.
Is there a reset process?

I’m thinking maybe it just happened to be in the defrost cycle when you checked the fridge. This may explain it: https://www.irv2.com/forums/f54/dome...ge-100710.html

Thanks. I understand the defrost mode but it got quite warm and stayed like that until it started working again overnight.

The brand and model of the fridge would be useful to be able to give a bit more insight

What the error code # was would also be nice to know

The Dometic RM1350 E0 error code means:

No communication between display and power modules. The control system will revert to full automatic operation selecting the best energy source available with AC first and GAS being second priority. The temperature setting will be maintained at the mid position. The power module will continually attempt to reestablish operation of the display module. Test control cable between upper and lower control, control (on-off) panel and lower board, clean all grounds, and try a different DC power source. If problem still exists change lower control board.
