'22 Hideout LED Wiring

I've been reading about adding another roof fan to my trailer, and the recommendation is to pull power from one of the LED lights nearby. Do the lights have a separate control wire to switch on and off in addition to the 12vDC?

I think your asking if the ceiling lights have a switch at the light? If they do and there is a wall switch, then they are all daisy chained.

There will be one run of 12V wires, and if you want to power the vent without having any lights on you’ll have to tap into the power BEFORE the wall switch or turn off the lights at each light if it has a switch and tap into the power wires near the fan.

I was wondering if there was an additional control wire so I wouldn't have to intercept the un-switched wire prior to the light. It doesn't sound like there is.

In simple terms that would be more $$ and more confusing for the line crew building it.
