Mods to the tongue

First was replacing the hand crank with an electric jack. I think I did this before I even unhitched it from bringing it home. Easy mod, one wire to the battery and well worth it. Second is that I prefer to only carry 20lb LP bottles over the 30lbders that come with. Editorial comment, I have never run out of gas and with the 20lb ones in a pinch you can exchange them darn near anywhere. To be able to use the shorter bottles I replace the threaded rod that the regulator / clamp rides on with on that is threaded it's full length and keep it as long as the original that way if I ever did want to use the 30lb bottles I still can. I do get better use out of them on my gas grill. it seem that when assembled the tanks and the battery's were put about as close together as you can get them which makes getting to tank cover off a real pain so I replaced it with one that has the access hatch on the top. Also not pictured I put a battery cut off switch on the negative pole so I can keep the trailer plugged in without over charging the batteries.

Where did you get the battery cutoff switch?
