rv covers

I reported the front cap on our 07 Laredo was getting "ripples". It seems to be clear that I have a leak but in asking keystone about this issue here is what they said:

"Thank you for taking the time to email Keystone RV. Keystone does not recommend covers on the units due to aftermarket products and moisture can be trapped under the cover and in the wind the cover can blow and rub on the unit and cause damages. If the repair centers are telling you that a temporary repair is to reseal the front cap then that would mean that there is gaps and voids in the sealant on the front cap which allowed water infiltration which caused bubbling. For a permanent repair it would have to be replaced and resealed. Has there been cap issues?? Industry wide in 2004/05 there was a glue issue that was causing bubbling on caps and walls of all kinds of unit but that was resolved then and have not seen since then."
Thank you for your time,
