Rubber Roof Maintainance

I have a rubber roof on my Passport 280BH and found some interesting info on the care and maintainance of it. I have posted two PDF files on my home page and they pretty much cover the do's and don't's of the subject. I have yet to clean my roof so I was wondering what was best to do. I like the pdf file that just uses Borax soap the best but the other pdf file goes into the subject much deeper and is by the people who manufacture the roofing material. Visit my home page and look in the folder labeled "Rubber Roof Maintainance", I hope these pdf's will keep you from making a big mistake and ruining your rubber roof.

Just a note to say that today I finally got to the chore of cleaning my rubber roof, I used Borax powder and it did a great job, now I hadn't cleaned my roof since I bought the trailer so it was pretty dirty but it all cleaned up to a squeaky clean white shine. I don't plan on putting anything else on it.

The only one mentioned in the article was Borax (20 Mule Team) powder, I use it to clean off the black streaks on the sides as well, it has worked better than anything else that I've used, got it at the local Walmart but you can't always count on them to have it (it's not made in China).
